About your feedback

You can give feedback anonymously

You do not have to tell us who you are. To help us understand and respond to your feedback, we may ask for:

  • Your name and contact details (if you’d like a response)
  • Whether your feedback is a compliment, concern or complaint
  • What happened and when it happened, if relevant
  • What impact it had
  • Any people or services involved
  • What outcome you’re looking for

Confidentiality

You can choose how much information to provide. The more detail you can give, the easier it may be for us to understand and act on your feedback.

We will handle your feedback carefully and in line with our privacy and confidentiality policies. We will not publish your words, name or story without your permission. If your feedback includes information about serious risk, safeguarding or harm, we may need to act to help keep someone safe. Where possible, we will explain this.

What happens next?

We review all feedback carefully and, where needed, may contact you for more information or to discuss next steps. Your feedback helps us understand what’s working well, identify concerns and improve our services.

Questions about giving feedback

Can I give feedback anonymously?

You may be able to give anonymous feedback.

If you make an anonymous complaint, it may limit what we can investigate or how we can respond.

Will my compliment be used publicly?

We will not publish your words, name or story without your permission.

If we would like to use your feedback on the website, in funding reports or in impact materials, we will ask first.

Can I complain if I am waiting for support?

Yes. You can raise a concern or complaint if you are waiting for support and something has felt unclear, difficult, delayed or not handled well.

Will making a complaint affect my support?

Raising a concern or complaint will not be used against you.

We will handle complaints fairly and respectfully.

Can someone complain on my behalf?

A complaint needs to come from you, but someone else can help you make it.

We may need to check what information can be shared and whether you have agreed to this.

What if my complaint is about confidentiality, safeguarding or data?

Please tell us what happened.

Depending on the issue, we may need to follow a specific process.

You may also find it useful to read our privacy, confidentiality and safeguarding information.
